...seems I'm not the only that thinks Jasper is pretty much the MVP for the Boks at the moment.
Anecdotal of course.

Even Eben spoke about Jasper with a bit of awe in that video you shared, Plummie.
@Pakie A common thread running through all the pods I watch is that when Jasper is mentioned, it's with a sense of awe.
We need to wrap him cotton wool for the WC because I have a feeling that if he goes down our chances drastically decrease.
Nice to know I was one of his earliest cheerleaders here while some were saying Roos is better hahaha
Jasper reminds me of....
Jerry Collins
Jerry Collins, a former All Black loose forward, tragically passed away in a car crash in France at the age of 34. Collins, known for his ferocious tackling and intimidating presence, was a key player for New Zealand rugby. He made his All Blacks debut against Argentina in 2001 and played 48 Tests for New Zealand, including three as captain. His death was a significant loss to the rugby community, and he is remembered as a tough and uncompromising forward
Jerry and Schalk's collisions were the stuff of legend. All of it would be carded in the modern game.
After he ran over Corne Krige in the 2003 WC QF, Schalk was subbed on and stopped him in his tracks
