Thanks to Ed, we have a dedicated topic section for this, which is great.

So, having said that, what are your predictions for the upcoming DDP vs Strickland fight in a few weeks time.

I personally reckon that Dricus will finish Strickland off, within the first 2 - 3 rounds via knockout or submission.

I think DDP learnt so much about Sean in their first fight, that he puts additional pressure on Sean from the get go.

Any punch can change the fight, and Sean certainly possesses the power to do it, but I see DDP ending this early.

The best comment I saw about their second fight was that SS only really ever fights one way. So why would the second fight go any different.
And it's true.
He's all about teeps and jabs...hoping you'll gas so he can bully you.
In Oz again.

Pres, what are "teeps"?

One thing i have to say...

In just about every DDP fight, he's looked to be 1 punch away from defeat. The oke looks out on his feet in every fight.

I want to see a conclusive win for a change.

Hope he smashes Strickland's face in. I cannot stand him.

DDP smoked Whitaker...that body shot at the end.

Teep kick...

I see Strickland is now publicly calling DDP out to stand and fight it out in the middle of the ring, with no wrestling or grappling... which he now says is "Gay Shit"

It's called mixed martial arts for a reason, it's not boxing, but Strickland wants to gain any advantage that he can, to get one over DDP.

Then again, DDP is so sure of himself, he would probably concede to SS just to prove a point, lol

May fighters have called DDP extremely awkward ... even Adesanya.

He may look like he is only one punch away from defeat, which even I thought would happen once or twice in the past.....but it hasn't yet happened to him yet in the UFC .

DDP will most probably get the upperhand again. Dricus is a more rounded fighter.

Strickland is a good striker and should not be given any room in that department.

will be a interesting fight for sure.

Yes I also read that…. Islam is very good for sure, but Dricus is big.

Quite a big jump for him to 185

"Quite a big jump for him to 185"

People are saying that it actually isn't a big jump up, because apparently between training camps Islam walks around at this weight naturally.

But then obviously keep in mind that DDP jumps up a lot after weigh in.

About 6 guys from last week went up between 22 and 27.5 pounds in weight from weigh-ins on Friday, to fight night on Saturday...... crazy

The whole weight-cut thing is stupid.

I'm not sure how they would do it but it would be nice if they could put a stop to it. An idea I heard previously was to simply weigh the fighter just prior to him entering the ring. So you pretty much fight at the weight you walk around at.

Aside from the fact that it's dangerous, the fighters also gas more quickly as a result of weight cutting.

Agreed Plum ...

I much prefer the idea of weighing in just before you fight, to maintain the integrity of fighting in your actual weight class, and not 2 or 3 weight classes above it
